Description
Authentic vintage 1930s to 1940s Qantas Empire Airways uniform badge. This historic piece of Australian aviation insignia features light-blue enamel wings flanking a central dark-blue enameled stylized capital letter Q, which nests the letters EA inside a white enameled laurel wreath. The top crest displays a red shield with a lion and stars beneath a rising sun motif.
The reverse includes the original threaded screw post and large circular brass backing nut. It is crisply stamped with the historical maker mark: G.A. MILLER MANUFACTURER SYDNEY.
