Description
For sale is a beautiful, authentic late Victorian to Edwardian era English center door pull handle. Cast in heavy solid brass, this architectural salvage piece features a timeless octagonal geometric faceted design that develops an incredible, genuine natural patina.
Unlike modern reproductions, this is a premium period casting featuring its original mounting hardware. It is designed as a non-turning pull knob for a front entrance door, using a secure bolt-through installation style where the bolt passes from the inside of the property directly into the threaded square recess at the back of the knob. This leaves a clean finish on the exterior with no visible or accessible screws.
The piece is in excellent antique condition with fine surface age-related scratching and a rich, unlacquered living finish. The threads are clear and the heavy slotted cheese-head bolt winds in smoothly.
