Description
An original late-19th-century antique milliner's wooden hat block in beautiful, used condition. It retains its deep natural patina and has never been aggressively polished or varnished, preserving its historical character.
Crafted most probably from Australian hoop pine, this unique solid timber crown block features a distinct offset base designed to mold a specific asymmetrical or avant-garde style of hat. The underside of the base is clearly stamped with the model number "1104".
Whether you are a working milliner, a dedicated collector of fashion history, or looking for an elegant, sculptural way to store and display your favorite fedora or sunhat, this is a beautiful statement piece.
