Description
A complete and rare three-piece set of mid-century Australian folk art (c. 1960s). These high-relief "storyboard" plaques are hand-carved from Australian Red Cedar, a soft heritage timber prized for its rich grain and lightweight feel.
The set depicts traditional Indigenous Australian scenes, featuring a hunter with a painted shield and spear, and a figure resting among fan palms. The deep-carved 3D effect and original ochre-orange pigments make these a standout example of collectible Australiana.
  • Artist/Studio: Attributed to the sought-after Takacs Studio style.
  • Material: Solid Red Cedar (lightweight and easy to hang).
  • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Original hanging hardware intact.
