The Gerber Strongarm Camp is a lighter version of the Gerber Strongarm, made in the US. This knife is designed for people who will mostly use their knife for tasks around the campsite, like food preparation, making a fire and other light cutting tasks. Other than that, you get the same quality you're used to from the Strongarm.

The blade made of 420HC steel has a thinner grind than the original, making the knife more suitable for food preparation and making feather sticks. The blade has a stonewashed finish which effectively hides traces of use. The tang of the blade seamlessly merges with the handle. It slightly protrudes from the handle.

The handle is made from FRN: glass-reinforced nylon. It's a lightweight and rock-solid material. For additional grip this Gerber is enhanced with an additional rubber overmould around this core. An additional layer with checkered pattern offers enough grip.

Striking about a knife in this price range is the very luxurious sheath that comes with the Strongarm. Left-handed, right-handed, vertical or horizontal on your belt or MOLLE vest: the Strongarm will feel at home anywhere. You can attach it to basically anything.
