Martha Senior’s sampler reproduced by Sovereign Samplers has a stitch count 294 w x 292 h.

The original sampler was stitched on 28 count linen. Our model has been stitched on 36 count Edinburgh linen in
“Eggshell”, an in-house hand dyed blend available from The Crewel Gobelin, using Au ver a Soie d'Alger threads. The sampler has been worked mainly in cross stitch, using one strand of thread over two threads of linen. There are a few half cross stitches in the sampler. A conversion for overdyed threads and DMC is included in the chart.
