By itself it does have a matte sheen, if you use a laying tool when you work with Soie Ovale you will enhance that sheen. Though it does not only stick well to the fabric but to our fingers as well, no need to worry: if the threads gets too rough use a bit of a non-greasy handcream on the palm of your hand and pull the thread through. Or, if you do not wear any make up in your face, pull it over your forehead. Soie Ovale is suitable for any textile technique".
