Released at the Nashville Needlework Market 2016. Catharine was 11 years old when she stitched her colourful sampler and died only eight years after finishing her needlework.
The verse reads: "Good humor is the greatest charm that children can possess. It makes them happy and what’s more, it gives them power to bless."
The model was stitched on 32 count hand dyed Straw linen from Weeks Dye Works using hand dyed cotton floss from Weeks Dye Works (Bullfrog, Pea Coat, Jay Bird, Liberty, Sweet Potato, Curry, Cocoa, Havana, Kudzu x 2, Loden, Skinny Dip and Begonia). A DMC conversion is included. Stitch count: 165w x 345h
