Description
Part# KB-SS-HRCYCLEKIT-FRONT ; Stainless Steel Front axle [solid I beam or IFS] Hot Rod cycle gaurd kit. This part number is for one wheel only, you need to specify a qty of 2 to do both front wheels.  That way if you cock one up you do not need to re-order another pair you can just by one. This is a weld up kit, for you to weld up. Kustom Bitz can weld them up at extra cost, however we would need your car in the workshop to fit them properly becasue poorly fitted cycle guards look terrible.

The Kustom Bitz front cycle guard bracket kit will suit, Lakes Hot Rod Parts IFS and I beam stubs, Rod City Repro's IFS and I beam stubs, SoCal I beam stub axles and Rod Tech IFS stubs and Rod Tech I beam stub axles.

You need to measure your tyre diameter at the side bulge and pick the closest curved section that will follow that bulge and be symetrical.  This is important to making them look right.

You also need to decide on how the loop over the tyre tread will go. You can bend the up right section over the tyre shape or select between two different tyre loop styles.  Keep in mind that the brackets will fatigue typically at the bent parts and crack over time.  The loops get welded to the uprights and have added meat at the angles so they resist cracking and because they are cut and not bent, they have no stretch stresses in them.  The loops also can be shaped on their top if you want to make an old style curved cycle guards, other wise the flat section suits a flat rolled mud guard.

NOTE: Mud Guard not supplied this is for the brackets only
