General Purpose Pan Hard Bar Bracket
 
Part# KB-MSP-40-DPH-U120-58-kit : Kustom Bitz laser cut plate steel bracket. These mild steel brackets are a universal hot rod or custom car differential mounting and locating bracket. Weld them to the diff side of the locating pan hard bar. We have made them in a double shear style for added strength. Shape, width at the base, and length allow you to cut out the bracket to suit your diff shape. You can mount it anywhere on the diff housing, it is plenty long enough to get the pan hard bar out far enough to clear the back bulge on a typical Ford 9 inch diff. The intended use of this bracket is for pan hard bars that are located in line with the axle centreline and run across the back of the diff from side to side.

There are a lot of forces on the pan hard bar in cornering, therefore the fabricator has to carefully and skillfully mount and locate the bracket for maximum strength. The geometry of your pan hard bar is also very important to the safe handling of your vehicle so it is a must that you always seek engineering advice from a qualified person.

Price is per flat pack ~ which contains two side pieces a long spacer that lays along the out side and an inner piece to create the double shear bracket for holding the 5/8 bolt in place.
 
The size and thickness of these brackets conform to the Australian Street Rod Construction Guidelines.
