Description
This manifold is now superseeded by our new model AS0016, however we decided to leave it up on the web because there are a few around now and you might want to learn more about it should you come across one on and engine or at a swap meet. ~ Part# AS0128 - AussieSpeed. Narrow runner, large port, tall plenum 4 barrel manifold to suit Ford 250 4.1 alloy head cross flow engine as used in XE XF Ford Falcon,TC TD TE TF cortina with Alloy Xflow head. Tall plenum, large runner, competition style manifold, suits all Xflow.This manifold can be ported to just under 50mm for engines that need to breath & use higher rpm.Has been used on very hot street engines,on turbo,dirt circuit & Drag racing. Suits hot high reving engines, works well in the 2500 to 6500+ rpm range.  Will also work well on street strip naturally aspirated street X-flow engine if camshaft lower power band is matched to high stall converter in auto equiped cars and lower diff ratio selected to get it rev, otherwise select camshaft to give a high air speed in the ports at idle and low rpm and a vac secondary 4 barrel if you intend to use standard stall converters and standard rear end gears or you could go for our small port vesion part# AS0016 which would work better for mild street engines. In either case this set up will allow you to ring your crossflow's neck and get all the fuel you need into it.
